It has been a while since I have written. Life happens.
It’s a new year and I am filled with great expectation for what is to come. Truthfully I don’t know if I can clearly articulate everything that is in my heart that I am anticipating, however I heard someone once say that ‘hope’ feels and ‘faith’ looks for the evidence of what hope has been feeling/sensing. The apostle Paul put it beautifully, “For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.” So, get your hopes sky high!
This past fall (2024) I had the privilege of teaching for six weeks at a friend’s moms’ group. I was tremendously blessed by this community of women and want to honour them for their hunger in wanting to understand more fully their divine worth and Who God has made them to be. Over the next while I will be releasing a miniseries of posts from my time teaching this fall on the topic of identity. My hope is that you will find them encouraging in your own journey and my prayer is that hope will increase in your heart as you expect to meet God in fresh ways this new year.
I am no expert, only a lifelong enthusiast. I have learned so much about identity as my own struggle to know Who I am has been deeply uncomfortable and trying. I promise the journey towards a WHOLE identity rather than a fractured one is worth the wrestle.
Stay tuned for more in the weeks to come!
